Christ ordered his disciples to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit…”

Through advances in travel and communication, access to the Gospel is ever increasing. It’s our mission as the church to help people hear and understand the good news of Christ - even to those across the globe.

Valley View has been involved with mission work in Haiti since 2013.  Members of our congregation have worked there every year with the Haiti Christian Development Project as part of medical mission trips.  Our members have traveled to Gonaives and nearby villages to provide eye care such as prescription and reading glasses, minor procedures, eyedrops, and sunglasses to the Haitian people.  This work is part of HCDP’s support and encouragement of the churches and to assist them in reaching out to their communities.
